STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen

AN ACT requiring insurance companies sending out solicitations for marketing purposes to include their insurance license number on such solicitations.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Insurance Companies; Solicitations. Amend RSA 402 by inserting after section 83 the following new section:

402:84 Solicitations to be Clearly Marked. Any insurance company required to be licensed under this chapter shall include its insurer’s license number in a clearly marked manner on any solicitation for marketing purposes to the public.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
