STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen

AN ACT establishing the position of state advisor of the FFA in the department of agriculture, markets, and food.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Future Farmers of America; State Advisor. There is created within the department of agriculture, markets, and food the classified part-time position of state advisor of the FFA, who shall be under the direction of the commissioner of the department of agriculture, markets, and food pursuant to RSA 485-A:30, I-a. The state advisor of the FFA shall be responsible for the statewide oversight of FFA programs to support youth leadership development in agricultural education.

2 Appropriation. The sum of $20,000 is hereby appropriated to the department of agriculture, markets, and food for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014 to contract for a state advisor of the FFA established in section 1 of this bill. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sums out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
