STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT requiring chartered public schools to share enrollment information with school districts.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Chartered Public School; Requirements. Amend RSA 194-B:8 by inserting after paragraph VII the following new paragraph:

VIII. A chartered public school shall share information with the superintendent of the child’s resident district for each child who enrolls within 7 days of such enrollment. The information shall, at a minimum, consist of the child’s name, address, the name of the school of last attendance in the child’s resident district, and the grade the child will be entering in the chartered public school.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
