STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT excluding firearms records from public records subject to disclosure under the right-to-know law.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Right-to-Know; Firearms Records Exempted. Amend RSA 91-A:5 by inserting after paragraph IX the following new paragraph:
X. Records relating to firearms licenses, permits, applications, or other documents reflecting the issuance or denial of a license or permit, except by the person holding the license, permit, application, or other document or upon the request of persons acting in their governmental capacity for purposes of the administration of justice.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2015.
