STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT authorizing the commissioner of the department of health and human services to transfer funds within and among accounting units.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Department of Health and Human Services; Transfer Among Accounts. Notwithstanding RSA?9:17-a or any other provision of law to the contrary, except as provided in RSA 9:17-c, for the biennium ending June 30, 2015, the commissioner of the department of health and human services is hereby authorized to transfer funds within and among all accounting units within the department, as the commissioner deems necessary and appropriate to address present or projected budget deficits, or to respond to changes in federal laws, regulations, or programs, and otherwise as necessary for the efficient management of the department, with the exception of class 60 transfers; provided, that any transfer of $75,000 or more shall require prior approval of the fiscal committee of the general court and the governor and council.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
