STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen

AN ACT relative to domicile for voting purposes.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Voter; Office Holder; Domicile. Amend RSA 654:1 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III. A person who declares an address in a New Hampshire town or ward as his or her domicile for voting purposes shall be deemed to have established his or her residence for motor vehicle law purposes at that address.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
