AN ACT relative to home heating fuel deliveries in the winter.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Paragraph; Regulation of Business Practices for Consumer Protection; Acts Unlawful; Failure to Deliver Home Heating Fuel. Amend RSA 358-A:2 by inserting after paragraph XVI the following new paragraph:

XVII. For the purpose of this paragraph, a “reasonable repayment plan” shall consider, among other things, the size of the arrearage or deposit, the customer’s ability to pay, and the customer’s payment history.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
