STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\trelative to permitted gambling by private individuals.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t1 Findings. The general court finds that prohibiting recreational activities among private individuals is repugnant to liberty.
\t2 New Subparagraph; Private Gambling Permitted. Amend RSA 647:2, V by inserting after subparagraph (c) the following new subparagraph:
\t\t\t(d) Gambling among persons where the owner or operator of the property receives no cover fee, entrance fee, or any portion of the money gambled except as a participant in the gambling itself and does not provide a dealer or game operator.
\t3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2017.
