STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\tauthorizing municipalities to use form-based codes as an alternative zoning regulation.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t1 New Subparagraph; Innovative Land Use Controls; Form-Based Code. Amend RSA 674:21, I by inserting after subparagraph (o) the following new subparagraph:
\t\t\t(p) Form-based code.
\t2 New Subparagraph; Innovative Land Use Controls; Definitions; Form-Based Code. Amend RSA 674:21, IV by inserting after subparagraph (c) the following new subparagraph:
\t\t\t(d) "Form-based code" means a land development regulation that fosters predictable results and a high-quality public realm by using physical form, rather than separation of uses, as the organizing principle for the code.
\t3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
