HB 1540-FN- FISCAL NOTE

AN ACT\trelative to direct shipments of beer.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The New Hampshire State Liquor Commission states this bill, as introduced, will have an indeterminable fiscal impact on state revenue and expenditures in FY 2017 and each year thereafter.  There will be no impact on county or local expenditures or revenue.

METHODOLOGY:

The Liquor Commission states the existing audit and tax collection staff may be able handle the additional work generated by the bill, but one additional staff member may be needed to perform data entry related to documenting direct shipment of beer in FY 2018 and beyond.  The Commission indicates the impact the bill may have on revenue and administrative costs cannot be determined.
