STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen
AN ACT\tclarifying who may adopt.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
\t1 Who May Adopt RSA 170-B:4 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
\t170-B:4 Who May Adopt. In this chapter, any adult or 2 adults together may adopt another person for the purpose of creating a relationship of parent and child between them.
\t2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2017.
