METHODOLOGY:

The Office of Professional Licensure and Certification states this bill halts the creation of a Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy to regulate this group and staffing needed to complete the licensing process.  It will also prevent collection of unrestricted revenue from those regulated by the board.  There are currently approximately 1,664 radiation technologists and 70  radiation therapists practicing in New Hampshire.  Licensing fees would be $110 every 2 years for both professions, and assuming all professionals were licensed in FY 2017, fee revenue would decrease in FY 2019 and FY 2021.
