STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

 

AN ACT repealing prohibitions on electronic device usage while driving.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Repeal.  The following are repealed:

I.  RSA 259:98-a, X, relative to serious traffic violations.

II.  RSA 265:79-c, relative to use of mobile electronic devices while driving.

III.  RSA 265:105-a, relative to prohibited text messages and device usage.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect January 1, 2018.
