STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT establishing the blackberry as the state berry.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; State Berry; Common Blackberry. Amend RSA 3 by inserting after section 28 the following new section:
3:29 State Berry. The common blackberry, Rubus allegheniensis, is hereby designated as the official state berry of New Hampshire.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
