STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

 

AN ACT defining bodily injury in the criminal code.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Criminal Code; General Definitions.  Amend RSA 625:11 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:

VII.  "Bodily injury" means any harm to the body which causes loss of or impairment to the health or of the function of any part of the body that is not severe, permanent, or protracted.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
