1 Lobbyists; State Employees. Amend RSA 15:1, V(d) to read as follows:
(d) Communication made by a public official acting in the public official's official capacity, provided that a state employee or state public official complies with RSA 15:2, III.
2 New Paragraph; Lobbyists; State Employees and Public Officials. Amend RSA 15:2 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
III. State employees and public officials of the state attending in their official capacity any legislative meeting or hearing, in any state building designated for such meetings or hearings, concerning any legislation pending or proposed before the general court, shall display employee identification badges meeting the name tag criteria described in RSA 15:2 when attending such legislative meeting or hearing.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2017.
