This bill directs the commissioners of the public utilities commission to establish a program of renewable energy incentives and benefits for low income ratepayers.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

 

AN ACT relative to access for low income ratepayers to renewable energy incentives and benefits.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Renewable Energy Incentive Programs for Low Income Ratepayers.  Amend RSA 374 by inserting after section 61 the following new section:

374:61-a  Renewable Energy Incentive Program for Low Income Ratepayers.  The commissioners shall establish a program of renewable energy incentives and benefits for low income ratepayers.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
