ANALYSIS

 

This bill requires the decennial retirement commission established in RSA 100-A:57 to study the feasibility and cost of eliminating the reduction in a retiree's retirement allowance upon reaching the age of 65.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

 

AN ACT adding a duty to the decennial retirement commission.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Subparagraph; Decennial Retirement Commission; Duty Added.  Amend RSA 100-A:57, IV by inserting after subparagraph (h) the following new subparagraph:

(i)  Study the feasibility and cost of eliminating the reduction in a retiree's retirement allowance upon reaching the age of 65.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
