1 Repeals; Vehicle Emission Testing Requirements. The following are repealed:

I. RSA 266:59-b, relative to emission control equipment requirements and on-board diagnostic system testing for motor vehicles.

II. 21-P:4, XII and XIII, relative to duties of the commissioner of safety for on-board diagnostic testing of motor vehicles under RSA 266:59-b.

III. RSA 266:1, VII, relative to the cost of OBD II testing.

2 Vehicle Inspection; Motorcycles. Amend RSA 266:1, V-a to read as follows:

V-a. An inspection station may, upon request, be designated a "motorcycle only'' inspection station. A "motorcycle only'' inspection station may inspect only motorcycles and shall not be required to conduct OBD II emission testing under RSA 266:59-b or to purchase or lease any equipment relating to the OBD II emission testing program.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
