STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT naming a bridge in Groveton in honor of George Langley and Lyle Hersom.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
40:1 George "Pop" Langley and Lyle "Cakie" Hersom Bridge. Pursuant to RSA 4:43, the bridge on U.S. Route 3 over the Upper Ammonoosuc river in the village of Groveton in the town of Northumberland is hereby named the George "Pop" Langley and Lyle "Cakie" Hersom Bridge. Appropriate signage may be placed at the site of the bridge.
40:2 Signage. The cost of design, construction, maintenance, and installation of any signage, replacement signage, or other markers required under section 1 of this act shall not be a charge to the state. However, the design, construction, and installation of any signage or other markers authorized in this act shall be approved by the department of transportation.
40:3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
