STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen
AN ACT relative to penalties for violation of political advertising laws.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Penalties; Political Advertising. Amend RSA 664:21 by inserting after paragraph VIII the following new paragraph:
IX. Any person who violates the provisions of RSA 664:14 relative to signature, identification, and authorization of political advertising shall be subject to a civil penalty of $500 for a first offense, $750 for a second offense, and $1,000 for a third or subsequent offense.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2018.
