STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT relative to the definition of "public at large."

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Statutory Construction; Definition of Public at Large.  Amend RSA 21 by inserting after section 52 the following new section:

21:53  Public at Large.  The term "public at large" means any person who is not currently holding elective office, and any person who has been elected to office but has not yet been sworn into office or otherwise begun to serve his or her term in office.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
