AN ACT relative to the National Guard force protection policy.

ANALYSIS

 

This bill provides that any force protection policy adopted by the New Hampshire national guard shall permit members of the guard to carry concealed weapons at national guard facilities in accordance with rules prescribed by the adjutant general.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT relative to the National Guard force protection policy.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; National Guard Facilities; Force Protection Policy.  Amend RSA 110-B:28 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraph:

VII.  Any force protection policy adopted by the adjutant general shall permit members of the guard to carry a concealed pistol or revolver upon their person in accordance with the rules, regulations, and training requirements prescribed by the adjutant general.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
