STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT requiring a performance audit of the department of health and human services, bureau of elderly and adult services.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Performance Audit of the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services.

I.  In addition to any other performance audit requirements, the audit division of the legislative budget assistant shall complete a performance audit of the department of health and human services, bureau of elderly and adult services.  The audit shall include an assessment of the rate setting procedure for long-term care services for elderly and adult clients and the formula for county reimbursement of long-term care costs.  

II.  The legislative budget assistant shall complete the performance audit and resulting report not later than 9 months after the effective date of this section and shall submit the report to the governor, the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate president, the legislative performance audit and oversight committee, and the fiscal committee of the general court.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
