1 Venue; Child Protection Hearings. Amend RSA 169-C:5 to read as follows:
169-:5 Venue.
I. Proceedings under this chapter may shall be originated in the judicial district in which the child is found or resides.
II. By the court, upon its own motion, or that of any party, Proceedings under this chapter may, upon notice and acceptance, be transferred to another court as the interests of justice or convenience of the parties require if requested by a parent of the child.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
