1 New Section; Chartered Public Schools; Notification to Parents. Amend RSA 194-B by inserting after section 14 the following new section:

194-B:14-a Chartered Public Schools; Notification to Parents. Chartered public schools shall provide notification of the following to the parents of affected students:

I. That the student's teacher has not met the certification requirements of the state of New Hampshire in the subject area he or she is teaching.

II. Any change in circumstance that results in the student being assigned to or taught by a teacher who does not meet certification requirements of the state of New Hampshire for 4 or more consecutive weeks.

III. Whether a child is receiving services from a paraprofessional and the qualifications of such paraprofessional.

IV. Information on the child's level of achievement on state assessments.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
