AN ACT requiring condominium boards of directors to provide notice of FHA approval status.

ANALYSIS

 

This bill requires condominium boards of directors to annually provide notice of the condominium's status as a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) approved condominium project.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT requiring condominium boards of directors to provide notice of FHA approval status.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Condominium Act; Duty of the Boards of Directors; FHA-Aprroval Status.  Amend RSA 356-B:40 by inserting after paragraph X the following new paragraph:

XI.  The board or directors, or their managing agent or designee, shall annually provide to each unit owner a verification of the condominium's status and expiration date as a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) approved condominium project.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
