STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT relative to statutes of limitations in civil actions against public servants.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Limitation of Actions; Public Servants.  Amend RSA 508:4 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III.  All personal actions against public servants based upon misconduct and/or malconduct in office may be brought at any time while the bonded defendant is in public office or offices and/or within 3 years thereafter.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect January 1, 2019.
