AN ACT relative to the bureau of securities regulation.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT relative to the bureau of securities regulation.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Bureau of Securities Regulation; Jurisdiction Over Securities Associations.  Amend RSA 421-B by inserting after section 3-301 the following new section:

421-B:3-301-a  Bureau of Securities Regulation; Jurisdiction Over Securities Associations.  The department of state, bureau of securities regulation shall have full and exclusive authority over any regulatory association of brokers and dealers operating in this state, whether registered as a national securities association or an affiliated securities association.  Such authority shall include the ability to issue fines, levies, or a suspension of activities.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
