AN ACT relative to grounds for receivership involving a manufactured housing park.

This bill allows a court to appoint a receiver for a manufactured housing park if more than 30 percent of tenants are delinquent in property tax payments.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen

 

AN ACT relative to grounds for receivership involving a manufactured housing park.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Manufactured Housing Parks; Appointment of Receiver.  Amend RSA 205-A:17 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:

IV.  Appoint a receiver if the court finds that more than 30 percent of the manufactured housing park tenants are delinquent in property tax payments and subject to outstanding executed tax liens under RSA 80.

2  Reference Added.  Amend the introductory paragraph of RSA 205-A:18 to read as follows:

205-A:18  Powers of Receivers.  If the court appoints a receiver pursuant to RSA 205-A:17, III or IV, the receiver shall have such powers and duties as the court shall determine including the right to:

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
