METHODOLOGY:
This bill would extend to June 30, 2020 a provision of managed care law provider contract requirements that prohibits a pharmacy benefit manager from requiring accreditation of providers other than by the New Hampshire Pharmacy Board or other state or federal entity. A similar provision is schedule for repeal effective May 1, 2018 (Ch. 223:2, Laws of 2017). The Insurance Department cannot predict what impact, if any, this will have on health insurance premiums paid by state, county or local governments.
