STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Seventeen

 

AN ACT relative to municipal regulations of small wind energy systems.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Small Wind Energy Systems; Noise.  Amend RSA 674:63, IV to read as follows:

IV.  Setting a noise level limit [lower than 55 decibels] lower than specified by site evaluation committee rules, as measured at the site property line, or not allowing for limit overages during short-term events such as utility outages and severe wind storms.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
