STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT relative to shift differential pay for employees who work overnight.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Payment of Wages; Shift Differential. Amend RSA 275 by inserting after section 43-c the following new section:
275:43-d Shift Differential. Every employer shall pay to each hourly employee working between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. a minimum of $2 per hour in excess of the employee's regular hourly rate.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
