STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT repealing the New Hampshire film and television commission.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

53:1  Repeal; New Hampshire Film and Television Commission.  RSA 12-A:41-b, relative to the film and television commission in the department of natural and cultural resources, is repealed.

53:2  State Promotional Initiatives; Reference Removed.  Amend RSA 21-Q:1 to read as follows:

21-Q:1  State Promotional Initiatives.  [In consultation with the New Hampshire film and television commission, established in RSA 12-A:41-b,] A state agency that contracts with the private sector for the use of film or video in an advertising, promotional, or educational program shall use New Hampshire talent whenever possible.  In this section, "New Hampshire talent" means the people used both in front of and behind the camera associated with the film and television industry.

53:3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
