STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT relative to authorized employee wage deductions.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Payment of Wages; Voluntary Deductions. Amend RSA 275:48, I by inserting after subparagraph (d)(6) the following new subparagraph:
(7) Voluntary deductions designated in writing by a state, county, municipal, or other public employee to the public employer for any insurance or employee benefit offered in conjunction with the employee's membership in an employee organization recognized by the employer or designated by the collective bargaining agreement, provided that the employee may rescind the authorization for such deductions by giving the public employer 30 days written notice.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
