STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen
AN ACT relative to political contributions by candidates for certain offices.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Section; Prohibited Political Contributions by Certain Candidates for Office. Amend RSA 664 by inserting after section 4-b the following new section:
664:4-c Prohibited Political Contributions by Certain Candidates for Office. Any candidate for the office of secretary of state, state treasurer, or any other office elected by a joint session of the general court, is prohibited from making contributions to any political committee, political party, political committee of a political party, political advocacy organization, or candidate for state representative, speaker of the house of representatives, or state senator.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2020.
