STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

 

AN ACT renaming the New Hampshire commission on deafness and hearing loss.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Hampshire Commission on Deafness and Hearing Loss; Name Change.  Amend the chapter heading of RSA 125-Q to read as follows:

NEW HAMPSHIRE COMMISSION [ON DEAFNESS AND HEARING LOSS]

FOR THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING

2  New Hampshire Commission on Deafness and Hearing Loss; Name Change.  Amend the introductory paragraph of RSA 125-Q:1, I to read as follows:

I.  A commission, to be known as the New Hampshire commission [on deafness and hearing loss] for the deaf and hard of hearing is hereby created and established.  The commission shall consist of the following members:

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
