1 Appropriation; Lakeshore Redevelopment Planning Commission. There is hereby appropriated to the lakeshore redevelopment planning commission established in RSA 10:5, the sum of $500,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, which shall be nonlapsing and shall be expended solely for the purpose of obtaining matching funds for supporting the operations of the commission and not for any other purpose. The governor is authorized to draw a warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.

2 Lakeshore Redevelopment Planning Commission; Authorization to Accept Funds. Amend RSA 10:8, II(a) to read as follows:

(a) Request, accept, and expend any federal funds available to the commission to carry out the purposes of this subdivision or the duties of the commission, provided that state funds available to be expended by the commission shall not exceed $365,000 in capital and general fund appropriations.

3 Budget Appropriation for the Lakeshore Redevelopment Planning Commission. Amend 2019, 345 by amending the footnote following the appropriation in accounting unit 01-14-14-141510-3892 to read as follows:

  • Funds in Accounting Unit 3892 for the Lakeshore Redevelopment Planning Commission established in RSA 10:5, shall not lapse until June 30, 2021 and shall be expended to support the operations of the Commission .

4 Capital Appropriation for Lakeshore Redevelopment Planning Commission; Lapse of 2017 Appropriation Removed. Amend 2017, 240:3, II to read as follows:

II. The sum of $115,000 is hereby appropriated to the lakeshore redevelopment planning commission established under RSA 10:5 for the purpose of undertaking any required title, subdivision, and other land preparation needed for the sale of the former Laconia state school property and training center property, and for the purpose of employing a consultant with real estate or financial expertise in preparation of the request for proposals for the sale of said property. Said funds shall not lapse until June 30, 2021.

5 Transfer of Prior Appropriations to Successor Entity. Any appropriation to the lakeshore redevelopment planning commission established pursuant to RSA 10:5, including but not limited to appropriations to the commission in 2017, 240, 2019, 345, and section 1 of this act, shall be transfered to, and available for expenditure by, any successor entity or authority on the date of such transfer.

6 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
