ANALYSIS
This bill provides that a teacher, school employee, or administrator who engages in sexual activity with a student between 13 and 18 years of age shall be guilty of felonious sexual assault or aggravated felonious sexual assault.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
AN ACT prohibiting teachers from having sexual contact with a student.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault. Amend RSA 632-A:2, I by inserting after subparagraph (n) the following new subparagraph:
(o) When the actor is a teacher, school employee, or administrator, and the victim is a student over the age of 13 years and under the age of 18 years.
2 New Paragraph; Felonious Sexual Assault. Amend RSA 632-A:3 by inserting after paragraph IV the following new paragraph:
IV-a. Is a teacher, school employee, or administrator and engages in sexual contact, as defined in subparagraph IV(c), with a student over the age of 13 years and under the age of 18 years.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect January 1, 2021.
