STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

 

AN ACT allowing therapeutic dispensaries to sell products containing CBD oil produced outside of the dispensary.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Use of Cannabis for Therapeutic Purposes; Definitions.  Amend RSA 126-X:1, I to read as follows:

I.  "Alternative treatment center" means a not-for-profit entity registered under RSA 126-X:7 that acquires, possesses, cultivates, manufactures, delivers, transfers, transports, sells, supplies, and dispenses cannabis, and related supplies, including hemp CBD products, and educational materials, to qualifying patients and alternative treatment centers.

2  New Paragraph; Use of Cannabis for Therapeutic Purposes; Definitions.  Amend RSA 126-X:1 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:

III-a.  "Cannabidiol" or "CBD" means a phytocannabinoid extracted from hemp plants.

3  New Paragraph; Use of Cannabis for Therapeutic Purposes; Alternative Treatment Centers.  Amend RSA 126-X:1 by inserting after paragraph XVII the following new paragraph:

XVIII.  An alternative treatment center may sell and dispense hemp CBD oil products and use the hemp oil in cannabis-infused products.

4  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
