STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
AN ACT relative to placing Keno on a warrant.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Keno; Local Option. Amend RSA 284:51 by inserting after paragraph IV-a the following new paragraph:
IV-b. If the question fails to gain a majority vote after being placed on the warrant or ballot for 2 consecutive years, the question shall not be placed on a warrant or ballot for consideration for 5 years. After the initial 5-year period has passed, the question may be placed on the warrant or ballot for consideration again. If the question fails to gain a majority vote, the question shall not be placed on a warrant or ballot for consideration for another 5 years.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
