1 New Paragraphs; Secondary Game Operators; License Fees; Background Checks. Amend RSA 287-D:10 by inserting after paragraph VI the following new paragraphs:

VII. The initial license fee shall be prorated based on how many months the licensee will hold the license until it expires in his or her birth month.

VIII. Notwithstanding the requirements of RSA 287-D:5, a secondary game operator license shall only be required to submit the following to the lottery commission in every other year following the issuance of the initial license:

(a) A criminal history record release form, as provided by the New Hampshire division of state police, department of safety, which authorizes the release of his or her criminal history record, if any.

(b) A complete set of fingerprints taken by a qualified law enforcement agency or an authorized employee of the department of safety. In the event that the first set of fingerprints is invalid due to insufficient pattern, a second set of fingerprints shall be necessary in order to complete the criminal history records check.

(c) The requisite fee for the criminal records check and the fingerprint check as established by the department of safety.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2020.
