Floor Amendment to HB 1-A
Amend the bill by deleting section 11, relative to department of health and human services; staffing; budget reduction.
Amend the bill by inserting after section 10 the following new section:
11 Appropriation; Department of Health and Human Services; Division of Children, Youth, and Families. In addition to any other sums appropriated, the following sums are hereby appropriated to the department of health and human services, division of children, youth and families: $1,143,541 in state general funds and $456,712 in federal funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022; and $1,226,227 in state general funds and $489,736 in federal funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. Said funds shall be used for the purpose of funding 22 existing, authorized child protective services worker (CPSW) positions.
