Floor Amendment to HB 1-A
Amend the bill by inserting after section 12 the following and renumbering the original sections 13-14 to read as 14-15, respectively:
13 Appropriation; Department of Health and Human Services; Dental Benefit. In addition to any other sums appropriated, $2,920,000 in state general funds and $2,920,000 in federal funds are hereby appropriated to the department of health and human services, division of medicaid services, account 05-95-47-470010-7948 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. Said funds shall be used for the purpose of funding an adult dental benefit under the state medicaid program, which shall be effective no later than January 1, 2023.
