Floor Amendment to HB 1-A

 

Amend the bill by inserting after section 12 the following and renumbering the original sections 13-14 to read as 16-17, respectively:

 

13  Department of Health and Human Services; Division of Economic and Housing Stability. In addition to any other sums appropriated, the sums of $1,500,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022 and $1,500,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 are hereby appropriated to the department of health and human services, division of economic and housing stability, accounting unit 05-95-42-421110-2977, for the purpose of funding child care support for families whose preventive or in-home protective cases have been closed by the division for children, youth and families.

14  Department of Health and Human Services; Division of Economic and Housing Stability. In addition to any other sums appropriated, the sums of $200,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022 and $200,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 are hereby appropriated to the department of health and human services, division of economic and housing stability, accounting unit 05-95-42-423010-7927, for the purpose of funding homeless youth outreach programs.

15  Department of Health and Human Services; Division of Medicaid Services. In addition to any other sums appropriated, the following sums are hereby appropriated to the department of health and human services, division of medicaid services, accounting unit 05-95-47-470010-7948: $1,545,705 in state general funds and $1,547,250 in federal funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022; and $1,545,705 in state general funds and $1,547,250 in federal funds for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023. These funds shall be used for the purpose of funding home visiting services that provide prenatal, child, and family support.
