The Committee on Enrolled Bills to which was referred HB 271
AN ACT relative to standards for per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water and ambient groundwater.
Having considered the same, report the same with the following amendment, and the recommendation that the bill as amended ought to pass.

Explanation to Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 271
This enrolled bill amendment makes a technical correction and contingently renumbers an RSA provision to avoid a conflict.
Enrolled Bill Amendment to HB 271
Amend section 1 of the bill by replacing line 1 with the following:
1 Per and Polyfluorinated Chemicals. The subdivision heading preceding RSA 485:16-e is repealed
Amend the bill by inserting after section 10 the following new section and renumbering the original section 11 to read as 12:
11 Contingent Renumbering; HB 236. If HB 236 of the 2021 regular legislative session becomes law, then RSA 485-H:11 as inserted by section 1 of that bill shall be renumbered as RSA 485-H:12.
