This bill prohibits the department of environmental services from participating in discussions of any state, regional, or national low carbon fuel standards program unless specifically directed by the governor.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty One

 

AN ACT relative to state participation in low carbon fuel standards programs.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Low Carbon Fuel Standards Programs; State Participation.  Amend RSA 21-O:23, II to read as follows:

II. The department of environmental services [may engage in regional and national] shall not participate in discussions or planning of such programs unless specifically directed by the governor or designated representative on a case by case basis.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
