This bill prohibits an employer from requiring that an employee or applicant for employment pay the cost of a COVID-19 test as a condition of employment.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty One

 

AN ACT relative to employer payment of required COVID-19 testing.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Subdivision; COVID-19 Testing.  Amend RSA 275 by inserting after section 77 the following new subdivision:

COVID-19 Testing

275:78  COVID-19 Testing.  It shall be unlawful for any employer, as defined in RSA 275:4, to require any employee or applicant for employment to pay the cost of a COVID-19 test as a condition of employment.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
