1 New Section; Powers of the Governor and Council in Certain Cases; Observances Proclaimed by the Governor; Remembrance Day Established. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 13-cc the following new section:

4:13-dd Remembrance Day. In recognition of the Armistice agreement that ended the First World War, the governor shall annually proclaim November 11 as Remembrance Day. On this day, the governor shall urge cities and towns to observe this day with appropriate ceremonies and activities.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
