STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two
AN ACT relative to restrictions on enforcement of federal immigration laws.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Chapter; Immigration Enforcement. Amend RSA by inserting after chapter 103 the following new chapter:
CHAPTER 103-A
IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT
103-A:1 Enforcement of Federal Immigration Law. A state, county, local government or judicial entity, person, employee, appointed or elected official, shall not adopt or enforce a policy or take any other action to prohibit, limit, or in any way restrict or discourage the enforcement of federal immigration laws, including but not limited to 8 U.S.C. 1373.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
